Lisa Harrison, Funeral Celebrant

A good funeral is so important. When done well, it enables people not only to commemorate and celebrate a life in the best way possible, but it also helps with the ongoing journey of grief.

How I can help you

My role is to help you get the funeral right. I will work together with you to create a personal and unique ceremony, to help you say goodbye to the person who has died in ways that you see most fitting and meaningful, truly reflecting who your loved one was, their values and their beliefs.

Together we’ll explore options. By listening attentively to you, I will support you in making decisions – around the setting, music, readings and the writing and delivery of of the ceremony.

Where to have the funeral

A funeral can happen in a wide range of settings – in your own home, a village hall, a woodland or in a more traditional setting, such as a crematorium. I’d be happy to work with you in any of these. As a celebrant based in South Yorkshire, I can help you find the venue most suited to you.

Making sure it all goes smoothly

In the lead up to the funeral day, I’ll liaise with all other professionals involved, doing everything to ensure it goes as you want it to, working together to create a truly memorable and beautiful ceremony.

Online funerals

I also offer funerals online – a different way for the bereaved to mourn together as a whole community. Please click here to find out more.
